1. Who we are

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed on hondeland.be. Hondeland is a Belgian online shop based in the Ghent region. Our full company details can be found in the legal notice. You can reach us at info@hondeland.be or via the chat on the website.

2. Scope

By placing an order, you accept these terms. They apply to consumers ordering in Belgium. Your statutory consumer rights always continue to apply.

3. Offer and prices

We describe our products as accurately as possible. Slight differences in colour or appearance compared to the photos are possible. All prices are in euros, including VAT and shipping within Belgium. Obvious errors in price or description are not binding on us; in that case we will contact you and you may cancel the order free of charge. Discounts and promotions are valid as long as they are shown on the website.

4. Order and contract

The contract is concluded when you place and pay for your order. You will then receive a confirmation by email. We may refuse or cancel an order if fraud is suspected or if a product is no longer available. In that case we will refund you immediately and in full.

5. Payment

You pay securely online using the payment methods shown at checkout. Your order is processed once payment has been received.

6. Delivery

We only deliver within Belgium. Delivery times and conditions can be found in our shipping policy. The risk for the product passes to you once it has been delivered.

7. Right of withdrawal

You have a 14-day cooling-off period after receipt. How to return a product and when you get your money back is explained in our refund policy.

8. Guarantee

All our products come with the 2-year legal guarantee for defects that existed at delivery. Report a defect within 2 months of discovering it via info@hondeland.be. Use the product according to the instructions; damage caused by misuse or normal wear and tear is not covered.

9. Use with your pet

Always use grooming products calmly and carefully, and start on the lowest setting so your dog can get used to it. Never leave your pet unattended with a product. In case of skin problems or doubt, we recommend consulting your vet first.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage caused by incorrect or improper use of the products. Our liability is limited to the amount of your order, except in the case of intent or gross negligence. This never limits your statutory consumer rights.

11. Privacy

We process your data in accordance with our privacy policy.

12. Complaints

Do you have a complaint? Email us at info@hondeland.be. We will reply as soon as possible and within 14 days at the latest. If we cannot find a solution together, you can contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (consumerombudsman.be).

13. Applicable law

These terms and all orders are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the Belgian courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer.
